At the heart of our sustainable future is collaboration.
Collaboration between farmers, the ecosystems in which they make their livings, businesses buying their goods, governments, NGOs, activists, and campaigners.
But effective collaborations require alignment. Unifying the polar priorities of diverse interest groups into simple, attainable goals is one of the greatest challenges we face in achieving a socially, environmentally, and economically prosperous future.
It's a challenge, not a lost cause.
Alignment demands communication. I use my decade-long experience working with farmers, non-profits, academics and corporations in the Latin America, the United States and Switzerland to locate where their goals intersect.
These intersections are unique opportunities to innovate sustainable change that lasts - change we can see.
